How is it possible to work, run errands, do chores, and take care of yourself in an entire day? The answer is by having routines. Routines provide us with a much needed structured lifestyle. You may think that it is boring to have your days planned out, but what you don’t realize is how having a plan allows you to be more efficient so that you can have more free time. Having everything thought out and prepared only makes the day go by much more smoothly. The amount of stress you’re experiencing is lessened by having your life organized.

Allotting a certain amount of time to each task forces your brain to focus on what you’re supposed to do. You achieve more goals when you master the ability to focus and manage your time. Each tick off of the to-do list not only gives a sense of accomplishment, but also motivates you to get everything done.

Prioritize the activities
I know that this sounds like a lot of work, but it really isn’t. You’re just prioritizing what you need to give attention to and getting it done. At the end of the day, it’s really nice to look back and breathe freely knowing that today was a good day and tomorrow will be just as good because you are ready for it. Find what it is that you enjoy doing everyday and make it a goal to do it daily. Commit to that routine or lifestyle that is important to you. By doing this you will be able to tackle each day head on.
